Why Is Passion Important?
WHY IS PASSION IMPORTANT? With so many throwing around the word, it becomes important for to really stand back and make sure that you understand what passion is and why is it important to both your personal and business goals.
Put simply, passion is the fuel that ignites energy needed to accomplish all you have ever wanted to do, wanted to have, or wanted to be in your life. When you insert this definition to both your personal and business pursuits, you begin to find alignment with your Genius Zone. This is the place where you can achieve the greatest accomplishments with the greatest of ease
The Genius Zone is one of four different zones of function identified by Gay Hendricks in his book, The Big Leap. It is the zone where very successful people function. Out of the four zones, your zone of genius is what’s most effortless for you. When you are in this zone, you capitalize on your natural genius and talents and are doing what you enjoy the most. This is you “flow” state where you find infinite creativity and inspiration. It is also where you produce great work that transcend what others are doing. The combination your own genius zone and it cannot be replicated by anyone.
Will it require to push your boundaries? It will. Will it require a good amount of work? Definitely.
Passion is important because it is a key component to finding your purpose
You will begin to realize that time spent in areas that you are not built for is wasted time. Define tasks that can be delegated to someone else and free you up to use that time more productively. Time management is essential so you can enjoy those moments in life that are so quickly passing you by.
Passion is that feeling inside of you that literally allows your physical being to feel alive, find energy, appreciate joy, be thankful and move with a serving heart. When you come from a place of appreciation and thankfulness, your message is more easily heard. It resonates a large population of individuals all looking for acceptance, approval, – the next great thing.
Rejection is not so scary.
When you come from a place of passion, doing what you love, what you are born to do then it matters less what others think. Rejection is not so scary. Instead, you are revealed with an understanding that this will not be for everyone, and that’s ok. So, enjoy the time with others who do understand and enjoy my passion as much as you do rather than focusing on those who have other roads to travel.
Passion is something that you can embrace as an individual, or as a part of group or team. You don’t need the approval of others to know that this passion of yours is something that brings you joy, satisfaction, energy, a sense of accomplishment.
What more could one ask for than to have this beautiful opportunity align with your everyday job. It would bring a new level of inspiration to your work space and a new spin to the world of business, practicing the original rule of our existence – “Give and you shall receive”.
It lets you explore and formulate into your very own signature.
Passion is important for each individual person. It lets you explore and formulate into your very own signature. No two people will have the same passion makeup. Your unique experiences, challenges, and accomplishments have provided you with a special gift that no one in the world can possess.
You can have people that will appreciate it, admire it, want to be a part of it, and can complement it. This is where you begin to develop your passion into a workforce strategy that brings your unique developed Genius Zones together to create in an innovative, accelerated, productive manner – producing amazing feats working in sync. Much like a pack of wolves hunting their prey – each one understanding their role and responsibility; staying out of the way of the other; understanding the reward if they work together and the possibility of extinction if they do not.
Having passion is important because it serves as the key to aligning your personal life with the business that you excel in.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life“, Confucius once said. You must be more intentional about making choices that put you in a position of working in thankfulness and with a serving heart.
The recipients of these tools will give back tenfold which will drape you in riches far greater than just monetary alone. It builds powerful relationships, partnerships, referrals, and it allows each individual person to contribute in a way that let’s their special gifts/skills plug into the missing component of the finely tuned machine. It allows a person to have support from those who are not jealous but gracious and gives us the opportunity to “fail forward” into an unknown land of blessings.
